Dr. Alford is an inventor, explosives engineer and a doctor of chemistry. Dr. Alford founded Alford Technologies in 1985. Alford is considered one of the pioneers in water projecting disruptors driven by high explosive. Alford’s explosive charges are some of the most highly regarded in the industry.
Roland is the second generation Alford in the company. Trained in mechanical engineering, he brought both his engineering skills and business acumen to the company when he joined it full time in 2002. In addition to running most aspects of the company, he is responsible for design, development and manufacturing and sales of Alford products.
Owen is a doctor of explosive chemistry, a former Colonel in the British Army and Ammunition Technical Officer. Owen served in Northern Ireland, the Balkans, and Iraq. Owen has deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Scientific Advisor to the UK Ministry of Defence. In 2012 Owen managed the UK Forensics Laboratory in Helmand Province.
Having served globally with the Royal Engineers for more than 25 years, latterly as a senior Warrant Officer and Instructor. Matt supports equipment development and implementation of technical services including sales demonstrations working closely with our customers and agents across the world.
Retired from the Royal Navy as a Warrant Officer Clearance Diver in 2007 with over 30 years naval diving, underwater demolitions and EOD experience. Clive provides technical support for equipment developement, training and documentation on our land based and underwater systems.
Isabella has been with the company since 2009. In her capacity supporting the Sales & Marketing for Alford Technologies, Isabella has been supporting our Distributor Network in the promotion of Alford equipment to their customers and in procurement support. Isabella also runs the marketing for the company.
