Broadmead Range – World Class Live-Fire Facility

Military personnel engaged in fast ropes training at Broadmead Range

Broadmead Range

Nestled in the heart of the Southwest of England and only 30 minutes from Bristol Airport, Broadmead is a versatile, self-contained facility owned and operated by the Alford Group. It offers a comfortable and secure environment for a wide range of activities, including training, research and development, product testing, and film and TV production.

The range can accommodate shots of up to 8kg or multiple smaller shots, depending on your needs. The site features a range of working areas, including ‘breaching jigs’ for Explosive Method of Entry (EMoE) training. The standout feature is ‘the pit’ – a 150m x 200m and 50m deep area that minimises noise and fragmentation, allowing for an extended ‘effective’ safety distance. With multiple firing points and safety bunkers, the site offers maximum work flexibility. Tucked away in a secluded location, ensuring the utmost security and privacy for sensitive operations.
