The Pluton Maritime EOD (PLMEOD™) Kit, a specialised shaped charge system, has been meticulously developed for underwater or water-line use. Housed in a sturdy transit case, this kit is a comprehensive solution, equipping a maritime or underwater EOD Team with all the necessary tools for various EOD tasks. The PLMEOD Kit is a versatile tool primarily designed for countermining and low-order deflagration. Purchasing additional projectiles can also support disruption tasks and stand-off attacks. The PLMEOD kit can be used underwater to depths of approximately 80m by incorporating the robust Underwater Capsule. This feature gives the charge an air gap in which the jet can form. The capsule makes the Pluton a completely non-magnetic charge capable of use as a diver-positioned mine counter-charge for destroying influence sea mines and for Conventional Munition Disposal (CMD).

You can replenish the PLMEOD KIT as you use the charges by ordering Pluton Charge & Stand Assembly (PL2904).

Projectiles
Pluton™ can carry one of five projectile options. Each projectile supports a different EOD or demolition task.
Copper Jet-Forming Cone (Cu JFC) – for countermining
Magnesium Jet-Forming Cone (Mg JFC) – for deflagration of thick-cased or buried unexploded ordnance
Liquid Projectile Set (not supplied with this kit – PL 2014) – for disruption
Copper Explosively Formed Projectile (EFP) (not supplied with this kit) – for stand-off attack
Magnesium Jet-Forming High-Performance Projectile (Mg HP JFC) (not supplied with this kit) – for deflagration of thick-cased or buried unexploded ordnance for greater penetration than the standard Magnesium Jet-Forming Cone
