The Split Screw™ can be used in conjunction with the Plain Detonator Adaptor (PDA) and provides an effective way of securing the detonator into the charge without the risk of the detonator becoming loose or falling out.   This product is also available with a dummy detonator, which allows you to set up the charge, ensuring the explosive can effectively accommodate the detonator—assisting with operator safety.  Once ready, the dummy detonator can easily be replaced with a live detonator.
