The Alford Strip 42mm charge has been successfully used for the swift and clean opening of car boots/trunks. Affixed along the line of the lock mechanism, the Alford Strip can be placed remotely by an RCV or if necessary can be attached to the target by hand. Tested against a variety of locks, the Alford Strip is successful in punching the lock through and allowing the boot/trunk lid to open on its hydraulics (if applicable), with minimal damage to the surrounding metal, allowing inspection of and access to any suspicious objects.
