Founded in 1985 by Dr. Sidney Alford, a pioneer in explosive charge technology, the company has built a formidable reputation as one of the world’s leading innovators of explosive tools.

From this reputation, we were approached following the Didcot disaster to use our remote capabilities to safely demolish the remaining structure. With the success of the task, further companies contacted Alfords bringing Alford Technologies back into the demolition sector to use our explosive capabilities commercially.
