Tekton fuse removal tool against UXO

The Tekton™ tool, renowned for its precision, is a highly effective and safe fuse removal EOD tool designed for use against UXO. After successfully removing the fuse, the operator can confidently and securely relocate the device for future destruction.  The Tekton™ tool comes with a set of three charges, each featuring a plastic body that houses an 85mm x 85mm x 10mm mild steel Ballistic Plate. The user fills the charge with explosives, and the NEQ can be adjusted to achieve the desired effect, offering a customisable approach to EOD operations. A polystyrene attenuator backs the Ballistic Plate, preventing it from breaking up when fired, ensuring the tool's longevity and reliability.

Deployment to Target

The Tekton kit contains three aluminium legs that attach to the charge’s body and can be configured to assist with accurate charge placement.

Sheet or plastic explosive is inserted behind the plate and is separated from it by the attenuator. The detonator holder and Split Screw adaptor assembly provide a secure method of fitting a wide variety of detonators.

The target munition dictates the exact explosive load and stand-off distances—please contact the Alford Tech Team for advice on this.
