Rebar Cutter™
Rebar Cutter™ (RBC) is a shaped charge used for cutting steel bars and cables in air or underwater. There are three available sizes; 15mm, 32mm and 50mm, which can cut target diameters of 5 ~ 15mm, 10 ~ 32mm and 20 ~ 50mm respectively. Targets of much greater diameter than these may be cut by using radial arrays of charges.
Rebar Cutter is used by the demolition industry to cut reinforced bar and cable when concrete structures are demolished or perforated, and can be used to cut window bars, metal grilles and railings. They can also be used to cut tangled steel cables to make it easier to transport or lift, to release tethered sea mines, and cut multi-core armoured electrical and data cable.
